Every day plants, bacteria and algae in this seems take in carbon dioxide by osmosis to do photosynthesis. I have evolved to live with a global average carbon dioxide level of two parts per 1,000,000.
So if there was a world wide drought and for all countries of the world, carbon dioxide levels in the air would not be affected! Biology is driven by photosynthesis.
This means man can not increase the level of carbon dioxide in the air: all he can do is increase life on earth! Burning the fossil fuels releases the life tied up in the deep; 65,000,000 years ago air as the dinosaurs died!
And so did 85% of life on land! The limit to life on earth is he amount of organic carbon circulating in the environment.
