Not now the world knows about Molecular Nuclear Fusion. Which means that regular water is fusion fluid.

We have converted one proton into a neutron, and the unstable isotopes fission in 1/100th of a second.
So the metal boils away in N, O or F gas. So the metal boils away. And I should have followed this up in 1986. But I was busy passing my degree.
In 2001 I was back doing a PhD into chemical engineering – and my supervisor (who does not wish to be named!) suggested the turbulent flow of H does nuclear fusion. And he was totally right.

Here the plasma has turned hydrogen into xn0.p+ +e-. Basically a string of neutrons attached to a proton, with free electrons. The plasma then turns them into a string of neutrons. Though only 1 collision in 1,000 does neutron formation – pressure dependant.
So we unwind matter into neutrons. But these then bond with the iron of O an H – in a steam plasma.
Interestingly enough, burning Fossil Fuels does Molecular Nuclear Fusion

So we note, it is a massively expensive way to do Molecular Nuclear Fusion. And oxidising the C radical takes in energy. To double 'r' we Ti plate the boiler plate or engine – the same heat and energy from half the oil.

The price of oil is linked to demand, so even halving demand reduces the price by a factor of 8.
Lightening demonstrates the exothermic nature of a steam plasma. A 1.5kn lightening bolt releases 2.5x1030 W, as it does Molecular Nuclear Fusion. Generating 5 tonnes of He.
In a glass tune we get Molecular Nuclear Fusion – twice as exothermic.

When we tried it, only 3.8 atmospheres caused the plasma to self sustain – so use 4 atmospheres.
So E=mc2. So 0.37cc of regular water will run a 100 MW power station for a decade. No Fossil Fuels burn. And no enriched uranium. WE produce no CO2, or solid waste.
This explains why the Saudis are desperately selling all the oil they can – while it still has value. Below $20 a barrel – it ceases to have any. It cost just $47.43 in January – when they stopped publishing prices. AS oil was in free fall.
Here is interesting! The price of oil and gas has fallen 80%. But the price of electricity from a conventional power plant has only fallen 5%. Somebody is operating a cartel, to keep oil and gas prices high.
Electricity should be at 0.45p per kW hour. Nuclear power only makes economic sense above 2p per kW hour. So basically uranium fission is massively over priced, and globally toxic.
As Fukishima showed, even the Germans and Japanese can't do the technology safely. The power station regulator has the legal imperative to ensure they carry sufficient insurance. Which is now 100 billion.
But no commercial insurance above 1 billion is available. So all uranium fission anywhere in the world, is illegal.
Molecular Nuclear Fusion runs for basically free. And one tap onto the glass plasma tube with an electric hammer stops the nuclear fusion. So never any core meltdown.
You do not need a core. A 50x1cm glass plasma tube at 4 atmospheres generates 1.2 MW of heat. Which should generate over 200 kW of power. The national grid in the UK pays 3,000 UK pounds per kW year.
So the garage hobbyist will get an income of 6 million a year. But will struggle to measure his water use – about 0.00025cc a year. No CO2. Supplying 40 power uses.
So 1 in 40 people need to set up a plasma steam plant – and no Fossil Fuels is required. No enriched uranium – or production of Pt.
We use a standard glass tube, With end stoppers to provide an electrical contact, and a way to top up the steam pressure.
We borrow the electronics from a fluorescent light. Once started the plasma self sustains at 4 atmospheres. Generating massive heat – we use to drive a steam turbine purchased over the internet, for 2,500 pounds.
And it sits in the shed, selling power to the national grid. Requiring no maintenance or fuel. Just a small reservoir of regular water when we start the plant.
So no CO2 – and free power. Regeneratable power uses Molecular Nuclear Fusion in the environment, but a steam plasma is the direct route. Are you listening Sir David Peterborough?
